Ronnie R. Gipson Jr. is an Assistant Professor of Law at the University of Memphis. Professor Gipson earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of San Francisco School of Law. While in law school, he externed for the Honorable Maria-Elena James, Chief Magistrate Judge for the U.S. District Court in the Northern District of California. Professor Gipson’s scholarship focuses on international trade law policy, specifically reviewing the impact of trade issues in the Indo-Pacific region on the global economy. In addition to his contributions to legal academia, Professor Gipson holds a certification as an International Commercial Arbitrator from the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in London.
